I am joining with local residents calling upon the Crisafulli Government and Ipswich City Council to complete the Eagle Street link across Goodna Creek.

Collingwood Park is one of Ipswich’s fastest growing communities. New housing developments have been approved and Collingwood Park State Secondary College opened in 2025.

New development demands new infrastructure to support it. The connection of Eagle Street across Goodna Creek has been identified in the Ipswich City Council’s Local Government Infrastructure Plan since at least 2018. Despite this, current plans do not schedule the connection before at least 2036.

With construction continuing and further estate developments proposed, the need for this connection is pressing. Completing the Eagle Street link would allow better access to the school, connect Collingwood Park to Redbank Plains, and ease pressure on local roads.
